What personal data we collect and why we do it

Comments

When visitors post comments on website we collect their data visible in the comment posting form as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user record to protect against spam. An anonymous hash data may be generated from your email address and submitted to a Gravatar service provider to verify that you are using this service. Gravatar’s Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been approved, your profile photo will be publicly visible next to your comment.

 

Files

When uploading photos to webpage you should avoid uploading them with saved location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download photos from the web page and extract location data from them.

When you post a comment on this site You can choose whether You want your name, email and website name saved in cookies. This is done for your convenience so that you do not have to re-enter this data every time you comment. These cookies are stored for one year.

If you write a comment, its text and metadata are stored indefinitely. This is so that we can recognize and approve future comments automatically instead of the administrator’s approval.

When you sign up for our website and become a user we store all your personal data that you submit to your account. Each user can view, edit and delete their personal data at any time (except for their username). Webmasters can also view and edit this data.
